What is Leukapheresis
Leukapheresis is a medical procedure where doctors take out the white blood cells from your blood. They use a special machine to separate the white blood cells from the red blood cells, plasma, and platelets. After that, they put the rest of the blood back into your body. The procedure is done in a clean and controlled place, and the machine spins the blood to separate the different parts and remove the white blood cells. The remaining blood is then given back to you.

White Blood Cell Donation: Compensation $275 - $450
During this special appointment, you will get to relax in a cozy chair for 2-5 hours. We will collect your white blood cells, but don't worry, it doesn’t hurt! We will use a special machine to separate some white cells from your blood, but the rest of your blood will go back to your other arm just like normal. We even have a tablet for you to use so you can watch your favorite TV shows or movies while you're here. It's a fun way to pass the time.
